Finding a parking spot at a busy mall on a Saturday, can be challenging and sometimes frustrating.

One New Jersey Woman became angry when another woman parked at a parking spot that she wanted and assaulted the woman.

The incident began when Tonya Knight-Joseph was on her way to meet a friend at the Cherry Hill Mall at 4:40 p.m. on Saturday. She circled the mall’s parking lot to find a place to park.

When she saw a car pull out of a parking space she took the spot and left her car. As she began walking towards the mall, a woman attacked her.

The woman claimed that Knight-Joseph took her parking spot. The women exchanged words before the suspect slapped Knight-Joseph in the face.

When Knight-Joseph put up her hands in defense, the suspect grabbed her hand and bit her finger. The police were called to the parking lot shortly after the bloody feud between the female motorists.

Knight-Joseph was taken to Cooper University Hospital where she was treated. Doctors said that she will have to wait a week to know if the finger was successfully reattached or if it will have to be amputated.

Police have released an image of the suspect who got away. Officers hope to arrest her for aggravated assault.
