(Scroll down for video) A man was found buried in a coffin inside a cemetery.

The man went missing after drinking at a local bar. Six days later, he was found buried in a coffin.

The 50-year-old man of Taiwan, who was identified as Chien, was trapped in a coffin in a public cemetery in Nantou county. Miraculously, he survived for six days by drinking his own urine and rainwater.

Although Chien has no idea how he got trapped inside the coffin, his family believes that the incident was premeditated by some of his friends, who often get together for drinks.

Police suspect that on Saturday after he got drunk, Chien was taken to the nearby cemetery where he was placed into the coffin. The coffin was then sealed with a heavy lid.

Chien, who is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 112 pounds, was unable to open the heavy lid after he sobered up. Chien kept himself alive by drinking his urine and the little rain that came into the box through a small hole in the coffin.

His suffering finally came to an end when visitors to the cemetery heard someone crying from inside the coffin. They called police. Firefighters removed the lid and rescued him.

Officials are investigating the incident, and they said that the perpetrators could be charged with attempted murder.
