Man wins BMW after touching it for seven hours while standing on one leg

A company offered a car lease for any person who will stand and touch the car the longest.

Contestants in China, competed in the contest to win a brand new BMW.

The contest rules dictated that people had to stand on one leg while touching the car with one hand.

The competition was held in Jiangxi province, and it began with over 140 contestants. These people were put through three elimination phases.

The finalists were able to compete for the BMW. The challenge started at 9:30 a.m. All competitors were asked to touch the BMW with one hand and stand on one foot.

At 1:30 p.m., the participants were required to stand on their toe of one foot. Organizers place flour on the floor under the heels of each person so they can make sure no one put their heel down.

Some people fell down in exhaustion. Slowly, more people were out of the competition. At 3:56 p.m., 7 hours and 26 minutes after they started, Wu Deqi was the last man standing and won the new BMW.

The Guinness World Record for standing on one leg is held by Suresh Joachim, who balanced on one foot for an incredible 76 hours and 40 minutes in Sri Lanka.
