(Scroll down for video) Is it art or filth? A woman called authorities after her neighbors hung toilets on a tree as bird feeders.
Neighbors in Colorado, were discussing whether hanging toilets from a tree is art or trash.
The dispute got out of hand and the El Paso County’s Code Enforcement officers have stepped in. Angela Johnson is upset over the display on her neighbor’s tree. They hung two toilets and a sink, which is there to serve as bird feeders.
They call it art, but Johnson sees it as garbage and tasteless. Johnson wants her neighbors to remove the toilet display, however they see it as art.
Johnson called authorities to complain about the two toilets and the sink. City officials agreed with Johnson and said: “This is not an art decor. This is a violation of the ordinance of garbage,” Gayle Jackson, who works for the El Paso County Code Enforcement, said.
After learning that they are violating county code, the homeowner said he will take the display down, but he still wants to keep it in his property.
