(Scroll down for video) Two women were fired from their teaching position in New York, after they were caught having sex in a classroom.

However, the teachers fought back and claimed that they were unfairly fired from their teaching jobs.

Now, an Appellate Court judge in Manhattan, agreed with Alini Brito, 34, and Cindy Mauro, 38, and ruled that they should get their jobs back. The court said that the teachers were treated too harshly when they were dismissed for having sex in the classroom while teaching at the James Madison High School in Midwood, Brooklyn.

The judge ruled that the two engaged in consensual sex between two adults, which is not illegal. The judge also pointed out that the incident occurred after class.

The incident began 5 years ago, when the women who taught Spanish and French, attended a school musical at the James Madison High School in Brooklyn.

During the performance, the two became bored and left. They went into a classroom and engaged in sex.

During their encounter, a janitor came into the room and caught them in the act. School authorities were notified and the two were fired.

The teachers went to court, and after a long battle, they won and will get their jobs back.
