A Californian man who was paid to protect children, was arrested for violating them.
The social worker of Los Angeles County, was arrested Thursday, on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 7-year-old child in Camarillo, according to Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.
Luis Gonzalez, 62, looks more like a loving grandfather, then a child molester. However, looks can be deceiving.
Gonzalez was arrested at his home in Atwater Village. He was charged with child abuse.
Detectives also allege that he sexually assaulted at least two others. Gonzalez has worked for the County of Los Angeles, as a welfare worker for the past nine years, a position that gave him access to children.
Gonzalez is being held on $1.1 million bail. Sheriff’s investigators believe there may be other victims.
