(Scroll down for video) A man in Florida, is dead and another man is hospitalized after they tried to kill another man.
The incident began, when the two men, who had their faces covered with handkerchiefs, drove up to a car in the 400 block of Northeast 29th Street in Pompano Beach around 5:00 a.m., where a man and woman were sitting.
The suspects and the couple exchanged some words before the passenger from the suspects’ car began shooting.
He missed his target and took off. The victims did not want to let the suspects get away, so they followed the car.
Sadly, the driver of the getaway car, identified as 23-year-old Ivan Alexander Parra, crashed into a tree, and died. The shooter was taken to a hospital in critical condition. If the shooter survives, he will be charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
Police believe that the couple was not the intended target of the shooting and it was a case of mistaken identity.
