(Scroll down for video) Would you eat while sitting next to a dead person? Apparently some people will.
A new restaurant is attracting customers, who believe that dead people bring good luck.
The New Lucky Restaurant is letting customers dine with the dead after they built their business around an old cemetery.
The owner, Krishan Kutti, of Ahmadabad, India, said that rather than destroying or moving the graves, the restaurant has built the tables around the real coffins.
There are about a dozen of the tombs inside the restaurant. Kutti decided to preserve the graves by cordoning it off by iron bars.
Every morning, his workers clean the graves and decorate it with fresh flowers. Despite having graves inside the restaurant it has become a popular place for diners.
“The graves brings good luck. Our business has been flourishing because of these graves, which give people a unique experience,” Kutti said.
Kutti said that he has no idea who the graves belong to. Some locals claim that the graves contain the remains of followers of a 16th century saint whose tomb is nearby.
