A mother is furious after her daughter was expelled from school as a result of her being raped.

The incident began when the 8-year-old girl was abducted, raped and sodomized, by a man in South Africa.

The child was badly injured and needs to carry a colostomy bag so she can relieve herself.

The man, Xolile Tose, 33, from the community of Motherwell in Port Elizabeth, was arrested and held without bail.

The court heard that the girl was playing outside with friends one afternoon when Tose approached and kidnapped her.

The child was missing for 15 hours during which time she was repeatedly raped by Tose. The 8-year-old was hospitalized and doctors fitted her with the colostomy bag.

One day, a school principal called the girl’s 30-year-old mother and complained that the child’s bag caused the class to smell badly from her pee, and that it was disturbing the other children.

“The principal told me that my child should stop going to school because the bag was smelly and disturbing other children in the classroom. He said that children could not concentrate and were constantly looking at the bag,” the mother said.

The mother learned that her daughter was being humiliated and teased by her classmates, and the school was doing nothing to protect the child.

Eastern Cape Department of Education spokesperson Loyiso Pulumani claims that the school did not expel the child, but rather called a meeting between the parents a social worker and school officials, over the issue.

However, the mother felt that she was being forced to pull her daughter out of school. The girl is scheduled to have surgery later this year to correct the problem and to remove the bag.
