A homeless woman who was trying to get a job, was arrested after leaving her kids alone in a car, police in Arizona said.
Scottsdale Police said that Shenesha Taylor was arrested because she left her two young children in her car with the doors closed while she went to a job interview.
Taylor was handcuffed by police after a passerby heard her 2 year old and 6 month old, crying in her car. Taylor was charged with two counts of felony child abuse and her children were placed with Child Protective Services.
Taylor had left the children in her truck so she could go to the job interview with an insurance company. According to police, Taylor told them that she did not have a nanny and she was homeless.
The 35-year-old mother was at the interview for 45 minutes and the children had been in the car for half an hour by the time the police arrived. Taylor was booked into jail and will remain there until her first court date.
