(Scroll down for video) A waitress is behind bars after slapping a customer in the face because he complained about bad service, police Idaho said.
Boise Police said that the waitress was arrested after hitting a customer, threatening cops with a knife and then kicking them as she was dragged out of a Vietnamese restaurant where she worked.
Truc Hyunh went into attack mode on Saturday afternoon, at the Pho 79 restaurant after the customer complained of bad service.
The owner of the restaurant said that his waitress has a history of problems and she spent three months in a hospital last year. “She hit the customer. I hear boom. I go out and tell her ‘no no no,’” owner Henry Do said.
Minutes later, police arrived at the scene, and officers noticed physical evidence of an assault on the victim, including a bruise on the victim’s jaw. The police officers confronted her in the kitchen and she pulled a knife on them.
Hyunh, 29, a mother of 5 children, grabbed the knife and positioned herself in a fighting position. She challenged officers to a fight, police said. She was charged with felony battery on a police officer, misdemeanor resisting arrest and obstructing an officer.
She was booked into jail and she no longer works at the restaurant.
