(Scroll down for video) A pizza shop owner is in trouble after workers served alcoholic beverages to children during a birthday party, police in Illinois said.
Chicago Police said that ten children were taken to a hospital after a server mistakenly gave them fruit punch that was spiked with alcohol during the birthday party.
The children, all under 10 years old, were given the spiked drinks around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, at the Home Run Inn restaurant. When the staff realized the error, the drinks were taken away from the children, and the police and the paramedics were called.
Some of the children began to cry and vomit after drinking the fruit punch. The children were taken to a hospital, and were said to be in good condition.
