(Scroll down for video) Conjoined twins of India, vowed never to undergo a separation procedure, doctors said.

Shivram and Shivanath Sahu caused a stir when they were born as some people began worshiping them as gods.

Now, doctors said that it is possible to separate the children, who are 12 years old. The children were born joined at the waist, and the two are determined to stay together.

“We do not want to separate. We will go on like this, even when we get old,” the conjoined twins said.

The two of Raipur, share two legs and four arms, and work together to get around. They have amazed doctors with their ability to wash, dress and feed themselves.

The two also share the same stomach, but have separate lungs, hearts and brains. With practice they have learned to do all their basic daily tasks, including showering , eating, dressing and combing their hair.
They are able to walk up the stairs of their simple two story house, and even run and play with the neighborhood kids.

Their father, 45-year-old Raj Kumar, has five daughters, but he is very protective of his two boys and does not allow them to leave the city.
