A man was sentenced to prison for roller skating at high speeds on a busy road, prosecutors in the United Kingdom said.
The man of Grimby, has been charged after a video of him roller skating at high speeds was uploaded to the Internet.
The video showed 25-year-old Dale Powles, holding on to a window of a moving car and roller skating.
Powles was arrested after police launched an investigation when the video was posted on the Internet. The court heard that the video were found on Facebook, and the footage showed Powles being pulled on a busy road of the city.
The stunt took place on Peaks Parkway. Powles pleaded guilty to helping William Wraith drive in a dangerous manner. The judge in the case gave him a 20 week suspended sentence and banned him from driving.
The road has a posted speed limit of 30 miles per hour. Powles also admitted to separate assault charges at the same hearing. Powles was also sentenced to two years supervision, 300 pounds compensation for assault, 85 pounds court costs and 80 pounds victim charges.
Wraith, 19, was not prosecuted due to lack of evidence.
