(Scroll down for video) A fight over who should be the designated driver ended with a bride behind bars, police in Pennsylvania said.
The New Brighton woman spent her wedding night in jail after allegedly killing her niece after the argument over who would take them home from a bar.
30-year-old Christina Nicole George-Harvan pulled a gun and fatally shot 21-year-old Katelyn Francis, after the two had been out celebrating with the groom at the Jimmy K’s Bar and Grille. Police said that alcohol played a factor in the violent incident.
The victim was celebrating with the suspect and her groom along with various friends and relatives. George-Harvan has been charged with one count of murder, two counts of aggravated assault and one count of reckless endangerment.
The gun George-Harvan used belonged to her new husband. Francis was a single mother with a son.
