A 27-year-old man is set to become Britain’s youngest grandfather.

The man, whose name cannot be revealed for legal reasons, wanted his 13-year-old daughter to have an abortion, but she would not hear of it.

Although becoming a grandfather should have been an exciting time for the young man, in this case, things are different.

The pregnant teen’s father was jailed when he was just 16 years old after he was found guilty of murder. The man was accused of killing a good Samaritan, who tried to stop a robbery.

The killer became a father when he was just 14 years old, and he was out of his daughter’s life since she was 2 years old.

The girl’s mother reportedly has a new partner and had two boys with him. The jailed man was unhappy when his daughter proudly displayed her unborn baby’s sonogram on her Facebook page.

However, her friends are standing by her side and they posted messages of encouragement to the teenage mother-to-be and to the baby’s father who is also 13 years old.

Currently, the youngest grandfather is 29-year-old Shem Davies from Bridgend, south Wales, whose daughter, Tia, had a baby boy called Jordan Williams at 14 years old.
