(Scroll down for video) A bride was horrified when her groom showed up to their wedding extremely drunk.
Jacob Francis Brookes, 41, who works as a musician, was very much looking forward to marry his girlfriend.
However, when he showed up drunk to church, the pastor informed the bride and her family that he cannot officiate the wedding under such circumstances.
Reverend Ian Hunter of the Uniting Church in Exeter, Australia, explained that the wedding would not be binding with a drunk groom.
Brookes tried to explain that he drank the night before at his bachelor party and that he only had three beers.
The beautiful looking but devastated bride, broke up with Brookes, an act that left him devastated.
The wedding was canceled and police were called. The groom was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
“’I’ve been dreaming for days and days about seeing her walking down the aisle in her beautiful wedding dress,” the heartbroken groom said.
Brookes is still trying to win his former fiance’s love back, but so far, he was not successful.
