A man was severely beaten by his fiancee’s lover.

The man almost lost his ear after he was beaten by the man, who was caught in bed with his girlfriend.

Andile Somboteni, 29, of Mthambeka, Tembisa, South Africa, came home and did not find his girlfriend.

When he asked around if someone had seen her his friends told him that she was seen with another man. At first, he thought they were joking.

Somboteni went over to the man’s house and was shocked to find his fiancee in the man’s arms. Andile told the man that she was his woman.

That is when the other man grabbed a bat and began beating Somboteni. The man hit the side of his head and his ear ripped open.

Somboteni ran for his life with his ear bleeding and hanging off his head. Neighbors who heard the screams and saw what happened, took him to a hospital. Doctors were able to stitch up his ear.

The next day, he reported the matter to the Tembisa police. “I thank God for saving my life. I could have been dead,” Somboteni said.

Somboteni also said that his fiancee sent him a text message apologizing for what had happened. However, he would not hear of it.

Somboteni said that he wants nothing to do with the woman as she almost got him killed. “I do not want anything to do with her. I just want her out of my life. I almost died because of her,” he said.

Captain Manyadza Ralidzhivha said that they have opened a case of attempted murder against the man who beat Somboteni.

However, when officers went to the home to arrest the suspect, they were told that he fled after the incident,” Ralidzhivha said.
