A woman admitted that she deliberately placed poison in the food of young children.

The woman wanted to take revenge against the school after they refused to renew the lease on her apartment when her lease was up.

She was forced to move out of her home.

Police arrested the woman of Yunnan Province, China, after feeding the kindergarten children contaminated pizza rolls, resulting in the deaths of two children.

The woman, Zhao Jianzhi, 44, confessed to police in Qiubei County, that she entered a classroom while the 4 and 5 year olds were napping. She took a bag pizza rolls and laced them with rat poison.

When the children woke up and ate the snacks many of them became sick and were hospitalized after suffering from food poisoning. Two students later died at the hospital.

The school had apparently been operating without proper certification since last year, and the owner of the school was also arrested after the poisoning occurred.

This is not the first time a person took revenge by targeting young kids.

Recently, a principal at a kindergarten in Hubei, China, was sentenced to death for the murder of two students who died, after he laced yogurt with rat poison in a dispute with a rival school.

Parents are calling on the authorities for more supervision at schools, and the National Health and Family Planning Commission is conducting an inspection of all kindergartens as a result of the tragic events.
