Firefighters in Massachusetts, were called to an eight-alarm fire, which broke out near a home in East Boston on Wednesday.

When firefighters arrived they found that a BMW was parked illegally at the fire hydrant and they were unable to get to the water.

Firefighters had no choice but to break the windows of the vehicle to run a hose through it.

The owner, who is said to be in his 20s and lives in the neighborhood, was very disappointed and upset to see his BMW’s windows smashed.

However, after a few minutes, he calmed down and realized that he had placed people’s lives in danger by parking illegally.

In addition to paying for new windows the car owner was given a ticket of $100 for parking at a fire hydrant.
