(Scroll down for video) A man managed to handcuff himself and then locked himself in a dog cage.

The man stayed in the dog cage for a while, but when he tried to get out he was unable to do so.

The man who was identified as Zeng of Taiwan, tried to wiggle himself out of the situation. After four hours with no success the man called for help.

Zeng used his nose to dial the number for police in Taitung, saying that he had handcuffed himself inside a dog cage wearing only his underwear and could not get out.

Zeng said that he had lost all feelings in his limbs after remaining in the same position for an extended period of time.

Zeng handcuffed himself inside the cage around 1:00 a.m., and stayed that way until he could use his nose to dial the emergency number on his smartphone.

After the police freed him from the dog cage, they found the key to the handcuffs and freed him. His hands were red and swollen.

After being freed the man assured them that there was no foul play and admitted that he done it to himself.

The man was taken to a hospital for a physiological evolution. A psychiatrist at the hospital expressed concern that Zeng could have been suffering from a stress-related illness.
