(Scroll down for video) A man was found dead after the FBI was looking to arrest him for sexually assaulting nearly 100 boys.

The FBI in connection with authorities in London, England, were investigating the serial child molester, who admitted to sexually abusing at least 90 young boys during his 40 year career as a teacher.

William James Vahey, 64, committed suicide after being exposed as a child molester by a colleague at a school in Minnesota.

The school employee found a disk on key full of inappropriate images of young boys, who appeared to be asleep or unconscious. The victims are all young teens.

When confronted, Vahey admitted that he had abused children while on school trips after giving them sleeping pills, according to the FBI.

The bureau is trying to identify potential victims of the teacher, who worked in at least nine different countries, including at the Southbank International School in London.

Southbank’s former chief inspector of schools, Sir Chris Woodhead, said that the school was deeply shocked by the revelations.

He also said that Vahey had taught children between 11 and 16 years old, and has participated in many field trips.

In 1969, Vahey was jailed in California for child abuse, but somehow this information did not show up during his criminal background check or by his references before he was hired in other countries.

Vahey was a married man with two adult children. He had a home in South Carolina and London.

Even though Vahey is dead, the FBI are still asking for victims to come forward.
