(Scroll down for video) A grandfather showed love and support to his grandson after he came out as gay.
The 80-year-old grandfather decided to have an equal sign tattooed on his wrist to show solidarity with his gay grandson.
Grandpa Frank was seen on video getting the tattoo one month after his grandson Joe got the same symbol tattooed on his abdomen.
In the video below, Frank explains that his grandson came out as gay about five years ago. He also said that the pain of getting the tattoo “is nothing compared to what my grandson went through when he first came out.”
Joe’s partner Will Wrench, who posted the video to YouTube, wrote: “About a month ago, Joe got a tattoo of an equals sign in support of human equality, and Grandpa Frank wanted to show his love and support by getting one as well.”
“The world is really lucky to have people like Frank, who not only loves unconditionally, but accepts everyone for who they are,” he added.
Frank said that his whole family stands by and supports Joe.
