(Scroll down for video) A man was angry when his girlfriend borrowed his electric wheelchair and it took her too long to return it.
The two got into an argument which led to the death of the girlfriend.
43-year-old Felicia Jones, was in a relationship with 71-year-old Robert Coleman for about four years. The two lived together in Texas.
According to police in Dallas, the fight was over his electric wheelchair. Coleman reportedly admitted to stabbing the victim, but said it was done in self-defense.
According to Coleman, Jones took his Hoveround electric chair to go to the store, but took too long to return. Police later learned that she had been out drinking and did not answer her phone for her boyfriend during that time.
When she finally returned home she was drunk. The two got into a fight over why it took her so long to return home.
Jones reportedly took a stick and hit Coleman. Investigators found marks on his body consistent with being beaten with a cane.
Sometime during the fight, Coleman was able to grab a knife and fatally stabbed Jones. A stab wound to the chest killed the woman.
Two years ago, Jones was arrested for domestic violence and for violating a protective order related to a previous fight with Coleman.
Since Jones had a history of abusing the elderly man, he has not been charged with any crime.
