A man received an instant ten day jail sentence after he managed to get arrested three times within a six hour period, prosecutors in West Virginia said.
The arrest spree of the Vienna man began on Tuesday morning.
Vienna Police first arrested Gregory Horner at 11:00 a.m., after getting a call about a fraudulent prescription for Xanax at a Rite Aid pharmacy location. While officers were at the Rite Aid, Horner walked in again and tried to use another fake prescription to obtain Xanax.
He was arrested for forging a prescription, and he managed to post bail. A few hours later, police responded to the residence of Horner after getting a call about a domestic dispute between him and his wife.
Horner’s wife requested a restraining order and Horner was arrested for domestic assault. After posting bail for the second time he was released from jail.
At 5:00 p.m., police received another call from the Horner residence to report that Horner was violating the protection order he received just hours earlier. He was arrested for the third time.
Horner was charged for violating the protection order and was immediately sentenced to ten days in prison. Horner still faces up to four years in prison on the other charges.
