(Scroll down for video) Parents are angry after a bus driver abandoned their children on a bridge and walked away.
Children called their parents in panic after their bus driver walked away, leaving them stranded.
The female bus driver stopped the bus, handed the keys to a girl and told the kids to drive themselves home.
The Baines Middle School students on the bus said that the incident started when the driver became angry because several children on the bus were being loud.
Students said that the driver stopped the bus at the busy traffic bridge, turned off the engine, packed her bag, threw the keys to a student and walked off the bus.
Students took pictures with their cellphones, showing the driver on the street outside the bus. They also took pictures of the bus keys in the hands of student Morgan Billingsley.
Parents are outraged and are demanding that the driver gets fired after putting their children in danger.
Some parents came to collect their children before another driver came to finish the route and drove the rest of the children home.
The bus driver is not currently driving buses for the district while the district investigates and takes appropriate actions.
