A man became angry when employees of a New Jersey Papa John’s pizza store refused to serve him because he arrived after closing time.
Newark Police said that they are looking to arrest the man for damaging the Papa John’s store on Friday.
According to the police report, the man became violent after learning that he had arrived minutes after the Pope John’s store had closed. The incident occurred around 1:15 a.m., at the store located at 181 East Main Street.
The suspect, described only as a white man wearing a backwards hat and striped shirt, was upset that the pizzeria had closed. He knocked on the door and kicked the bottom, causing the glass to break before running from the scene down south Chapel Street.
The damage to the store location was estimated at $500 and so far, no arrests have been made.
