A 26-year-old woman was arrested after kidnapping her husband at gunpoint, police in Alabama said.

The husband and wife mutually agreed to separate, but when the woman saw her husband with another woman she went crazy.

Michelle Bradley Barker, 26, of Stanton, fired shots outside the house of her husband’s new girlfriend about 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, before demanding that he come outside to talk.

Bradley hit the front door and threatened to shoot up the house, police said.

When her husband came outside, Bradley threatened to kill him if he refused to get into her car. He did as he was told. Once inside the car she and continued terrorizing her estranged husband.

“The 26 year old then called her mother-in-law to say that she would kill her son and dump his body along the roadside,” Lt. Curtis Muhannad of the Selma Police Department said in a press release.

Meanwhile, the new girlfriend called police and told them that her lover was kidnapped. Police began to follow Bradley and were able to pull her over without incident.

A .22 caliber semi-automatic gun was recovered from the car. Bradley has been charged with domestic violence, kidnapping, reckless endangerment, and harassment.

She is being held without bail.
