(Scroll down for video) A man dressed as photographer entered a hall during a wedding celebration and killed the bride.
The wedding in India, turned into a horror when the bride was gunned down while exchanging vows with her new husband.
The shooter, Anurag Singh, is a cousin of the bride, who claimed that she had been “cheating” on him.
The bride was an accomplished woman, who worked as a pediatrician before she was brutally killed.
Dr. Jaishri Namdeo, 29, was standing next to her husband on stage, in the city of Bhopal, when Singh stormed down the aisle and shot her at point blank range.
He then turned the gun on himself and shot at himself but missed. Witnesses grabbed him, beat and held him until police arrived.
The bride was rushed to a hospital. Her newlywed husband, Rohit Namdeo, who is a surgeon, waited at the hospital along with family and friends hoping for good news.
Sadly, Namdeo, was declared dead at the hospital from a single wound to the neck.
After his arrest, Anurag told officers that Dr. Namdeo had “deceived him.” It is not clear exactly what he meant, but detectives are investigating if the two were ever romantically involved.
