(Scroll down for video) A young girl was arrested and charged with the theft for stealing many smartphones.

The 14-year-old cellphone thief was arrested by police in Hong Kong, after the string of robberies.

The junior high school student was wearing her uniform and looked so innocent and harmless when she asked people to use their phones.

The young girl came up with a sob story. She told people that she had lost her phone or wallet, and asked to use their phone to call her family.

When unsuspecting people handed over their phone, she ran away with it.

After many complaints, police were finally able to identify her through security cameras at the Sha Tin train station after she stole the phone of a 10-year-old girl.

Police found that the suspect is a student at a high school in that area. The next morning, officers waited for her near the train station and she was arrested.

After searching her apartment, police found evidence that linked her to several other cases of theft and fraud in the last three months.

The 14 year old told police that she sold the stolen phones and spent all the money on entertainment.
