Four prostitutes were arrested on charges of assault after they allegedly beat one another over a customer, police in Nigeria said.

Lagos State Police said that the four sex workers appeared before a court on Friday.

The four defendants were identified as Joy Morkoha, 37; Tayo Folarin, 35; Blessing Ugbo, 26; and 25-year-old Tina Osakwe. According to the police investigation, the fight broke out outside a hotel on Shobowale Street, Ilasa, Mushin.

The four women pleaded not guilty to the charges. The suspect were booked into jail and released on N30,000 ($184) bail each. In other prostitution news, a new app allows consumers to locate nearby prostitutes via a GPS tracking system, Pia Poppenreiter, the creator of the app, said.

The new application called Peppr, was launched in Germany, earlier this month.

Consumers can connect to the application and search the type of girl they want, including body type, eye color, personality traits and the maximum price they are willing to pay. Poppenreiter said that he wanted to create a tool that benefits sex workers as well.

Until now, sex workers waited outside in the cold to find customers. Prostitution is legal in Germany.
