The pastor couldn’t believe that the man stabbed his wife, saying that they just attended a marriage counseling session during which they told each other how much they were in love.

Port Charlotte Police said that they arrested 50-year-old Jeanwell Napoleon, after being accused of stabbing his wife repeatedly in her left inner bicep, the middle and lower abdomen, and her back.

When officers arrived at their home they saw several people on the ground in the front garden, including the victim who was bleeding. Paramedics transported Marie Napoleon, to a nearby hospital.

Andre Dalleman, the couple’s pastor, said that he was at the home before the stabbing occurred and Jeanwell Napoleon was not acting angry at all. Jeanwell Napoleon claimed that his wife was cheating.

Police officers who arrived at the scene, arrested him for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was booked into the Charlotte County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
