(Scroll down for video) A man desperately wanted to go to a concert, but was on the run from police.

The 23-year-old fugitive, identified as Hong of China, had been on the run for six months.

He reportedly underwent plastic surgery so he can attend the concert of his favorite Chinese pop singer, Jay Chou, without being recognized.

However, his plans did not work out very well and he was captured by police at the Hefei Railway Station just after the concert.

Hong is a big fan of Jay Chou, and had been planning to go to his concert in Hefei for a long time.

However, during an argument, he assaulted his neighbor and fled from the scene. He ran from police before they were able to arrest him on charges of assault.

Hong was afraid of being identified by his iconic black mole below the right eye. He had plastic surgery to get his mole removed as well as other plastic surgery procedures to change his look.

After he left the concert, officers asked for his ID. That is when he was arrested.

Hong said he was happy that he was able to sit through the entire performance. Hong asked police for permission to keep the concert ticket as a souvenir in jail. Below is a video of his arrest.
