An ultra-Orthodox Jewish female teacher suffered serious injuries after being beaten in an unprovoked attack, police in France said.
The Paris Police Department said that the teacher was beaten by a group of black men on Monday afternoon.
The woman was transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment. She suffered from bruises on her entire body.
The woman is a teacher at the school headed by Rabbi Aharon Daniel Heiman. The attack occurred as she approached a train station.
The thugs also grabbed her purse before fleeing from the scene. After being attacked, the woman returned to the school where staff members alerted rescue workers and the police.
Police launched an investigation into the attack and they believe that the victim was beaten because she is Jewish. So far, no arrests have been made.
