A teen was arrested on charges of vandalism after allegedly breaking a window of a popular Kiryas Joel restaurant, police in New York said.
The Monroe division of the New York State Police, said that they arrested 19-year-old Cesar Morales-Rosales of Monroe, after being accused of punching and breaking the window at Kaufman Kitchen restaurant.
Police were called to the scene of the incident on Forest Road around 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the police investigation, Morales-Rosales created a disturbance at the restaurant and was escorted from the premises by an employee.
In revenge, Morales-Rosales hit the window, causing it to break. Troopers found him a short distance away and stopped him, accusing him of misdemeanor criminal mischief, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration and disorderly conduct.
Morales-Rosales was booked into the Orange County Jail, in lieu of $1,000 bail.
