3 Flatbush residents shot after out of control party spilled into street

(Scroll down for video) Three Flatbush residents were hospitalized after being shot during an out of control party, police in New York said.

Brooklyn Police said that incident occurred on Monday night.

According to the initial police investigation, the two 18-year-old women and the 24-year-old man, were injured in the shooting after a fight. The three victims were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening.

The shootout unfolded on Avenue M near 95th Street. Earlier in the day, a 20-year-old man died and a 25-year-old man was injured in a shooting at 219th Street and 137th Avenue in Queens.

The day before, police said that a 27-year-old was killed in a shooting on East 96th Street near Winthrop Street in Brooklyn. Police are also investigating two separate stabbing incidents in the subway system that left three wounded.

Two suspects, who boarded a train at the Q Station on Atlantic Avenue, demanded money from a rider and when he refused they stabbed him in the head and stomach. The suspects fled when the train stopped at the station in Prospect Park.

A broken knife was recovered at the station. The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition. The second stabbing incident involved two men on the number 4 train near Lexington Avenue.

The two were stabbed during an argument with two other men. Both were taken to a hospital and are expected to survive. Police launched investigations, but so far, no arrests have been made.
