(Scroll down for video) People were stunned to see a glamorous bride dressed in her wedding gown at a supermarket.

Anna Savery, 39, was seen in at the Asda supermarket in South Wales, United Kingdom, on Saturday, dressed in her white wedding gown and collecting drinks for her own party.

Earlier in the day, Savery had tied the knot with her much younger boyfriend, James Savery, 26, her partner of four year. They celebrated with a meal at the Irie Shack in Cwmbran.

The bride, groom and guests were having a good time, and did not want it to end.

They decided to hold an after party. “We decided we did not want to go home,” said the bride.

“My mother said we could go to her house, but we had to get our own alcohol, which was fair enough,” she added.

So the bride decided to go to the local supermarket by herself. Mrs. Savery said that she received many good wishes from other shoppers.

“People came up to me and asked to take pictures,” she said. “People told me I looked beautiful, asked me if I married that day. A girl said I looked like a princess,” Savery added.

Savery said that in the past, she went into the same supermarket in her pajamas and no one said anything. She did not expect the reaction she got. “It’s something I will never forget,” the newly married bride said.
