(Scroll down for video) A girl was shot and killed by another teenager in a fight over a boy that began on Facebook.
Endia Martin, 14, of Chicago, Illinois, was killed by another 14 year old in the fight over the boy they both loved.
Police said that the argument between the two freshmen students began on Facebook and escalated due to comments made on the social networking site.
Martin was walking home from school with another girl when she was confronted by a group of girls including the suspect.
A fight broke out, and as the argument got heated the suspect pulled a gun from her waistband and shot the victim.
Martin was shot in the back, and was left to die on the sidewalk. Martin’s friend fled after suffering a gunshot wound in the arm.
Police arrested the 14 year old along with a 17-year-old boy, who was said to have helped hide the gun.
The gun was brought to the scene of the fight by
the 17-year-old boy. He told police that he got the gun from the suspect’s uncle.
The uncle, Donnell Flora, 25, was also arrested. He is accused providing the loaded .38-caliber revolver to his 14-year-old niece. The 14 year old is being held on $3 million bond.
