A stupid criminal who stole a GPS, ended up behind bars after calling police to report that he was lost, police in Florida said.
Pasco County Police said that they received a call from the suspect, who reported that he was being chased by fat hogs about 2:00 a.m. on Thursday.
He was immediately arrested for having an active warrant for driving with a revoked license. The suspect was identified as Andrew James Joffe, who explained that he did not know where he was.
“I’m on Deen Still Road. That is all I know,” he told officers. When police officers arrived at the scene they searched his vehicle and found a GPS device set with a home address that was not the home of Joffe.
The address led police to a person, who said that her car had been stolen and that the GPS belonged to her as well. After Joffe admitted to stealing the GPS, the officers added two charges, theft and robbery.
