(Scroll down for video) Police are looking to arrest several men on charges of theft after allegedly stealing UPS and Fedex packages from homes in Borough Park, police in New York said.
Brooklyn Police said that the latest two incidents unfolded on 58th Street between 12th and 13th Avenues.
Items were stolen on two different days by two suspects. Police released security surveillance video that showed the suspects taking the packages.
UPS spokesperson Dan McMackin, said that drivers are trained to leave packages in places that are far from public view, and customers can send detailed delivery instructions online. He also said that customers could choose to pick up their packages from UPS locations.
FedEx spokesperson Sharon Young, said that shippers can check a box on the form of delivery requiring a signature at delivery, meaning that drivers cannot leave the package unattended at all. She also said that the packages can be sent to Fedex location for pick up.
