(Scroll down for video) Several Texas restaurant employees caused an uproar after telling a gay couple never to return to their establishment.
“We do not serve f**s here,” the couple of Pittsburg was told.
The incident began when the men went to eat breakfast at Big Earl’s Restaurant on Tuesday morning. They said that they enjoyed their food and paid for their meals.
Collin Dewberry, who was leaving with his partner, said that the waitress told them that they do not serve these type of people at the restaurant. Collin and his partner Kelly Williams, said that they have lived in East Texas all their lives and have never been called that name before.
“Here at Big Earl’s we like for men to act like men and women to act like women, so never return,” the waitress also said. Ironically, that phrase is published on a piece of paper on the front door of the restaurant.
The owner said that sign had been there since the restaurant opened three years ago. He also said they have the right to refuse service to the couple in the future because they did not follow that policy.
