(Scroll down for video) A new suitcase motor bike that can travel a long distance on a single charge is now being sold in China.
The inventor of the new bike has transformed his suitcase into the electric scooter, an invention that he hopes will revolutionize the personal transportation and luggage industries.
The three wheel scooter suitcase of He Liangcai, weighs 15 pounds and can reach a top speed of 12.5 miles per hour. The battery lasts between five and six hours, and it can travel up to 37 miles on a full charge.
The handlebar controls the accelerator, brake and lights, and the machine is equipped with a GPS system. Liangcai of China, has spent nearly 10 years and around $161,500 developing the idea.
He has since been riding his motor bike in the city of Changsha. When the battery dies, it can be removed from the suitcase and placed in a charger that plugs into an outlet.
The farmer turned inventor has secured a patent on his motor bike.
The price for a motor suitcase bike ranges between $650 and $4,750 depending on the model type.
