(Scroll down for video) Four girls were taken by child protective services after they found them to be severely abused.

Police said that in the last five years, the four girls, who are between 7 and 13-years-old, have been fostered and then adopted by Kimery Lynn Jorg, 53, and her husband, Johann Glenn Jorg, 61, of Arizona.

When Peoria Police went to the house, they found two girls who were malnourished. They also found a list of punishments used for the two older girls.

The list allegedly included making the 13-year-old girl live in the backyard in a tent without clothes or a bathroom. She was forced to wear a diaper or use a bucket to relieve herself.

Other punishments included running for an hour with bare feet in the heat and get a slap on the behind with a wooden paddle. The couple reportedly had shaved the head of the 13-year-old girl as punishment, saying that she did not deserve to have her hair.

The punishments allegedly came after the 13-year-old girl admitted to stealing food because she was hungry.

Police said that the couple’s abuse came to the attention of Child Protective Services when they called a behavioral therapist and said how they were disciplining the girls.

Kimery Jorg said that she writes notes to remember the punishment the girls are due, according to court documents. Police said that they found dozens of these Post-it notes in the kitchen.

Police said that the two younger adopted daughters, aged 7 and 8, were not subjected to the same kind of harsh punishment.

The four girls are in the protective custody of CPS. The 13-year-old girl is still in the hospital due to severe malnutrition.

The Jorgs were arrested on four counts of child abuse. They are being held in lieu of $100,000 bond.
