(Scroll down for video) A woman of Florida, who was desperate to get her hand on free lobsters, was caught on video shoplifting and stuffing them down her pants before being arrested on charges of theft.

Orange City Police said that they quickly nailed Nichole Reed for stealing the lobsters.

The 30-year-old woman had planned to steal the seven lobster tails from the DeLand Publix. Reed was charged with theft from a merchant.

She was booked into the Volusia County Branch Jail on Thursday. The Publix is located at 2400 South Woodland Boulevard.

The incident unfolded just before 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The value of each lobster tail is $11.99.

A security guard at the store told police he saw the woman filling her pants with the lobsters and leaving the store without paying. Reed lives in the 400 block of Holly Oak Boulevard.

Reed said that she entered the store with the intent to steal food. Reed also said that she was going to sell the lobster tails to a friend and possibly buy painkillers with the cash.
