The 25-year-old man of Suzhou, stayed up late to watch the World Cup.

The man was found dead by his parents in his room early on Saturday morning, with his television still on. His parents said that he stayed up late for several days to watch the football games.

Doctors at the Xiangcheng People’s Hospital, said that they suspect his death was linked to staying up late watching the game, which took place in the middle of the night in China, because of the time difference with the host country Brazil.

Although doctors did not specify what exactly might have caused this fatality, exhaustion or a heart attack are possible factors. They warned football fans to be careful with their health.

China may not be represented at the World Cup 2014, but television stations are broadcasting the games from 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. Beijing time.
