(Scroll down for video) People in a nice Texas neighborhood were shocked over the arrest of a father of two young children.
33-year-old Alfredo Andrade-Gaytan, was fired from his job as an elementary school teacher after he has been accused of sexually assaulting a student.
Andrade-Gaytan was a teacher at the Reilly Elementary School when according to an arrest affidavit, asked one six-year-old girl to stay in the classroom while the rest of the class went outside to play a game.
He then proceeded to sexually assault the kindergarten student. When the child got home from school she told her parents about the abuse.
Investigators said that she was taken to a hospital, and DNA evidence was found on her clothing.
Police tried to question Andrade-Gaytan, but he denied being alone with the girl.
The next day, Andrade-Gaytan allegedly called police to confess the mistake he made. School officials said that there is no evidence that any other students have been assaulted.
Andrade-Gaytan was removed from class immediately after the charges were filed.
Andrade-Gaytan remained in the Travis County Jail on $50,000 bond.
