A man was arrested on charges of smuggling after allegedly trying to throw a football stuffed with drugs over a prison fence, police in Michigan said.
The Detroit Police Department said that they arrested 22-year-old Christen Deon-Sterling Moore, and he was charged with two counts of smuggling to supply an inmate in prison, and one count of providing a cell phone to a prisoner.
Moore was seen throwing the ball over a fence at the G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility on Sunday morning. The football landed between two rows of fences.
Inside the football was marijuana, heroin and three cell phones. Moore was booked into the Jackson County Jail. His bail was set at $50,000.
Moore faces up to 15 years in jail if convicted on the felony charges.
