(Scroll down for video) A community went from a poor farming village to bodybuilding muscle men who have good jobs.
The poor farming village has reinvented itself as the bodybuilding capital of India.
Almost all of the 3,500 men of Asola-Fatehpur Beri, workout and became very strong. They are able to lift motorcycles and other heavy equipment.
They use their strength as bouncers. About 90 percent of the villagers are employed as bouncers or security guards in nearby New Delhi.
The men began training when they were young boys. At the age of 14, the boys switched to a diet of milk, bananas, eggs and curd – which is the diet of all men in the village.
They can work out up to six hours a day lifting motorbikes, tractors and wrestling to build up their bulging biceps before unwinding with yoga.
The village’s new muscle men reputation has also made the women happy as their children are more disciplined and they don’t drink, smoke or take drugs.
