(Scroll down for video) A curious pit bull squeezed its head into a car wheel, and had to be rescued by firefighters, rescue workers in California said.
The Kern County Fire Department said that its rescuers successfully freed the dog that got its head stuck in the tire on Friday morning.
The Bakersfield puppy pit bull named Junior, was playing with its siblings when the incident happened. The dog began to howl, catching the attention of its owner, who took the wheel and the puppy to the local office of the Fire Department.
Firefighters took cooking oil from the kitchen and were able to squeeze an oily and very cranky Junior, out of it after ten minutes. Junior was definitely not a happy camper when it was happening, but soon after being released it was running around again.
As for what Junior did to get stuck in the wheel in the first place remains a mystery.
