(Scroll down for video) A young boy was arrested on charges of theft after allegedly taking a school bus on a joyride, police in Florida said.
Bay County Police said that they have arrested the 12-year-old boy after being accused of taking the bus for a joyride.
Employees of a Walmart located on Front Beach Road, called police after seeing the school bus maneuvering through the parking lot around 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Despite not causing problems, it seemed strange that the driver could not figure out a way to park.
When the police officer pulled behind the bus with emergency lights on, the young driver, Michael Wade Propst, came out. The bus driver had apparently left the keys in the bus, and Propst admitted to taking it himself.
No disciplinary action against the bus driver were taken on Tuesday.
